Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe held a summit meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, making his tenth visit to Japan since his coronation. The Prime Minister announced a loan of 300 million dollars (approximately 34 billion yen) to support Jordan and ease the financial burden it has incurred in accepting 1.3 million Syrian refugees.
