Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe visited Prime Minister Theresa May for the first time since she assumed office. During their discussions, they agreed to strengthen and move forward on partnerships between Japan and post-Brexit UK in economic and industrial areas. They also confirmed to work actively to address the common issues of healthcare and the empowerment of women, as they prepare for the G7 Taormina Summit to be held in Italy on May 26-27, 2017.
