Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe received a visit from three members of the U.S. House of Representatives participating in the U.S.-Japan Legislative Exchange Program: James Sensenbrenner, Jim McDermott and Hank Johnson. The Prime Minister urged greater exchange between the legislatures of the two countries and a strengthening of the relationship, and discussed the need for a firm response to North Korea after the recent nuclear test.
