Prime Minister and LDP President Abe received a courtesy call from a delegation of the ROK-Japan Parliamentarians' League led by Chairman Suh Chung Won. The Prime Minister was joined by Fukushiro Nukaga, Chairman of the Japan-Korea Parliamentarians' Union, and Takeo Kawamura, the Union's Chief Secretary. He welcomed the delegation and, referring to the recent agreement between Japan and Korea, expressed his gratitude "that we will reach a final and irreversible resolution of the comfort women issue."
