Prime Minister and LDP President Fumio Kishida held a summit meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam. The Vietnamese Prime Minister was the first head of state to visit Japan since the inception of the Kishida Administration, and the two leaders confirmed their policies regarding responses to Covid-19 and cooperation on security. They agreed to do everything possible to continue to develop the relationship between the two countries.
