The Rio De Janeiro Olympics and Paralympics were a medal rush for the Japanese team. Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe met with host-country Brazil's President Michel Temer to congratulate him on the success of the games. He also discussed the importance of the two countries working together for reform of the United Nations Security Council.
