Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited New York (USA) and Jamaica while he traveled from September 26 to October 2. During his speech to the United Nations, the Prime Minister expressed strong resolve to make even greater contributions to world peace and prosperity. During the trip he also met with the heads of Russia and other countries to deepen relationships, and to argue the need for early Security Council reform and other necessary changes to the U.N. Prime Minister Abe also highlighted Japanese cuisine and the attractions of Japan as a tourist destination, in what was a very successful U.S. trip.
