Secretary-General Hidenao Nakagawa met the Danish Ambassador Freddy Svane on Feb 5th at Party Headquarters. Secretary-General Nakagawa praised Denmark’s high national income per capita and its vigorous economic recovery and maintenance of strong economic growth in recent years. He said that Japan would like to apply the Denmark model for the full-scale reinvigoration of Japan’s economic growth.
He also thanked the Danish people for their understanding and cooperative attitude toward Japan’s positions on Iraqi reconstruction and the issue of North Korea.
Secretary-General Nakagawa and the Ambassador Svane emphasized the importance of making every effort to deepen their countries’ relations in the coming years.
